Antiseptic swabsticks impregnated with a solution of 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate and 70% Isopropyl Alcohol

Characteristics of SOLU-I.V. swabsticks and benefits related to its uses:

Tip made of medical grade foam: soft, inert and hypo-allergenic, releasing less particles than other swabsticks

Tip allows two (2) applications per swabstick

Impregnated with 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate and 70% Isopropyl Alcohol

- Fast acting antiseptic, with a residual activity of 6 hours
- Antiseptic effective against: gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, fungi and viruses
- Antiseptic not affected by contact with organic matter
- Hypo-allergenic, not absorbed through skin
- Does not stain hands or mask veins
- Dries quickly

SOLU-I.V. swabsticks are used to prep the skin for:
- Insertion of all types of catheters
- Catheter-site care
- Skin antisepsis for a site of 4" x 4"
- Blood cultures collection
