VacuNet
Protex VacuNet
[More information]

VacuNet is a non-adherent; hydrogel coated open weave 100% polyester net dressing.

The hydrogel consists of a formulation of 30% water and 70% acrylic polymer.

The hydrogel is permeable to water, vapour, gases and small protein molecules, and provides a degree of absorption and retention of exudate.

As the hydrogel expands it inhibits Vacutex™ capillary loops from protruding through the polyester weave thus preventing trauma to granulating wounds on dressing removal.

VacuNet is non-invasive, has had no known reactions and is indicated for use as a primary non-adherent wound contact layer dressing for acute and chronic wounds.

VacuNet has no significant contra-indications.
