TiLene Hernia Mesh

TiLene Hernia Mesh is a titanized soft tissue reinforced mesh implant. TiLene Hernia Mesh provides the highest quality synthetic implants with best possible bio-compatibility and lowest possible foreign body reactions.

Can be implanted as follows:

• In the peritoneum
• Between the abdominal wall and the peritoneum
• Before the deeper muscle layer

Can be used in both

• Open (eg after Lichtenstein etc)
• Laparoscopic Implantation (eg TAPP and TEP)

TiLene Plug

TiLene Plug is intended for the tension-free, preperitoneal treatment of direct and indirect inguinal hernias.
Implantation Technique

• For indirect hernias, the hernia sac is separated after preparation and ligation.
• To ensure optimal results select the right size of TiLene Plug.
• If necessary, trim the inner ply if the TiLene Plug for smaller defects.
• Grasp the inner ply of the TiLene Plug with sterile forceps or clamps and push the plug
  gently through the internal ring, deep into the preperitoneal space.
• After positioning, secure the outer ply with 2-4 sutures.
